A Word of Thanks to all the Bands

Dear Friends,

Thank you for making the thirty-ninth South of Ireland Band Championships such a memorable occasion. You are all the talk of the town! A well-deserved tribute goes to all of you for your co-operation and goodwill which ensured that this was yet again a highly-successful event. But above all, thank you for the music at the competition and the various venues around town which was deeply appreciated by the locals and a huge influx of visitors.

So many compliments have been paid to you and we realise how lucky we are that you come to Clonakilty to compete and celebrate.

A diary date – Saturday, July 6, 2019 for the 40th annual South of Ireland Band Championships. We will take a little break before the preparations will start.

Meanwhile, best wishes and renewed thanks. See you next year DV.

Yours sincerely,
Eileen Kingston
